Junior Research Analyst

DeFi Recruitment has partnered with a leading Digital Asset Market Data provider. The firm distributes terabytes of historical and real-time institutional-grade cryptocurrency market data via its proprietary API serving 750 million API calls daily.
  
Our client is seeking a Research Analyst to join their in-house research team. This individual will take a front-row seat in the crypto markets to produce insights for the company’s broad institutional audience. In addition, this role will collaborate with other data and research analysts to derive data insight and write short and long-form reports. The Research team also handles media requests from global news outlets, including the Financial Times, Bloomberg and much more.
  
Job responsibilities:

• Assist the team with written analysis and data insights, supporting a suite of exchange research products.
• Work will be varied – from report writing and helping create insights using crypto-related datasets.
• Conducting general industry research on crypto-related topics  

Requirements:

• Passionate about the crypto space
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to write clearly and present meaningful research findings
• Numerical competency, ability to think critically and extract insights from data. Comfortable with large, varied data sets.
• Experience with data collection, validation, processing and charting.
• Team player, good communication, willingness to learn, ability to work independently.
